Common and Proper Nouns
Common nouns name general people, places, things, or ideas while proper nouns name specific people, places, things, or ideas. Proper nouns are always capitalized.
Be careful with animal categories. They are considered as common nouns because they’re general types or categories rather than unique names that identify the noun.
